Mountaintop Berry Boho Wedding Inspiration

From Jana Scott Photography: “We couldn’t wait to design a shoot at Above the Valley in Central Pennsylvania. A million-dollar view of purple mountains and a patchwork of picture-perfect farmland offered a breathtaking backdrop for our Mountaintop Boho Berry shoot. Craving color, we invited Avant Garden Floral Design to create a bouquet in deep shades of wine, ruby, and plum, cradled in deep green succulents and wrapped in navy blue satin ribbon. Perfectly ripe plums served as place card holders, giving height and texture to an otherwise overlooked spot. The geode-inspired invitation suite received a respectful nod with the escort cards and table numbers, hand-lettered on natural slate. Chef Harrison’s farm-to-table menu selections celebrated the best that the area has to offer, fresh and local, filled with bright color. The illusion of movement was essential, even indoors. We loved the room with a wall of windows, leaving it drenched in natural light. The bright florals remained the pop of color on a neutral tablecloth with splashes and waves of navy chiffon cascading across each tabletop. We couldn’t resist mixing vintage table settings with a touch of elegance: vintage-inspired goblets and blue tapers in gilt candlestick holders, gilded flatware and ivory and gold china on top of beaded charger plates. In order to set the sweetheart table apart from the dining tables, we stumbled across a dramatic pairing of soft, romantic fabrics, mixing unexpected colors and textures.”
