When two artists get married, you know it’s going to be creative, and Kyle and Anna’s June wedding at Lillstreet Loft certainly didn’t disappoint! They met while studying at the School of the Art Institute of Chicago, and when Kyle proposed, they knew a traditional wedding wasn’t for them. They eloped on a weekday in Chicago about 6 months prior and started planning their reception at a nearby gallery. Anna is an amazing illustrator and created the invitation suite and favors for the celebration; she also pulled together a curated collection of vendors to highlight some of their favorite places in Chicago. Most importantly, they wanted an event that was unique to them, so they decided to host a gallery show featuring a selection of the artwork they had exchanged over their nearly 7-year relationship. They brought together their friends and family to witness the progression from friendship to love through comics, illustrations and collaborative artworks they both created.
