“During a brief visit to Chicago, I collaborated with model Anna DeBlecourt on this lush and whimsical bridal inspiration shoot. This shoot was inspired by romantic shades of purple and violet, spring floral arrangements, and whimsy. The simple gown added to the overall soft, feminine aesthetic and was styled with elegant and intricately braided hair and natural makeup look. Anna is a stunning model to photograph but she also has a lovely eye for design and style. She played a huge role in the coordination of this shoot. In fact, she deserves all of the credit!
We had originally planned to shoot this editorial in the garden but the weather was not cooperating. We didn’t let the unfortunate weather rain on our parade, however, and instead used it as an excuse to move our shoot to a beautiful conservatory, which really pulled our vision together.”
