Spring weddings are always so fresh, crisp and green. There is nothing better than nature starting to come alive again. Steven and Becky's Wedding at The Space at Feather Oaks was a very warm, but wonderful wedding day. Becky fell in love with this venue because of the main building and the color of the green doors, and that is exactly what excited photographer Allison Johnson about shooting this outdoor real wedding.
The Bride's biggest splurge of the wedding was her dress. The delicate lace over a fitted satin slip was comfortable and made her feel like a princess. The rest of the wedding was centered around being simple yet classy. The Bride's favorite flowers are all orange and she picked blue dresses because they compliment the flowers. The guys went with lightweight clothes and suspenders for the guys to help make it through the warm weather.
My most important details were my dress and my photographer and both ended up being perfect. My most important details were my dress and my photographer and both ended up being perfect.
I have lots of great memories, but one of the thing that stands out the most still is actually with my niece and our flower girl. We had hair and makeup appointments that morning and she spent the whole time warning me that she was going to be more beautiful than me. Not only would she be more beautiful, but there wouldn't be a wedding because Steven would see her and they would run away together. After our appointment, I went to the venue and began getting ready. I had just the bottom slip on and not the fancy lace portion when she walked in. She stopped dead in her tracks and said “ok you win! You're the most beautiful.” I love that kiddo and that reaction made all the morning stress go away.
