Kat and George wanted to create a fun and comfortable experience for their guests. Their venue, The Omni Barton Creek, fit in perfectly with the tone they wanted, with its beautiful pavilion overlooking the rolling Texas hills and elegant ballroom. They chose a pink and white color palette for a timeless and classic look that was mixed with greenery and fun gold accents. Some of their favorite details included the cross that stood in front of them during the ceremony. George spent four months building it and surprised Kat with it a few weeks before the big day. The Bride’s Vision
We tried to make the wedding day convenient and comfortable for family and guests. We loved the Omni Barton Creek because the ceremony site is a pavilion with glass sliding doors all the way around. It was reassuring to know we could open it up to the Texas Hill country on a pretty day or close the doors in case of April showers. We got lucky with the weather – it was a gorgeous spring day plus the rolling hills and green golf course in the background made for beautiful photos. And the best part of all, guests could just walk outside for the cocktail hour and then straight upstairs to the ballroom for dinner and dancing.
