Danielle chose an “Into the Sunset” theme (most appropriate for the gorgeous sunsets in Maui) for her spring destination wedding to George! She chose an ombré color palette of pinks to mirror the colors of a sunset. 35 of their nearest and dearest family and friends flew to Hawaii to celebrate with them against an awe-inspiring ocean backdrop. The ombré theme was reflected in the bridesmaids dresses with blush pink, watermelon, rose, hot pink and fuchsia, and they carried bouquets of contrasting pink flowers. Even the aisle path of rose petals graduated from deep pink to light pink to white ending at a chandeliered arch that was swathed in white draping with hanging dendobrium orchids and beautiful floral corner sprays. They even had an amazing ombré cake and suspended it beneath a gorgeous chandelier. The hot pink table linens were accented by long lines of ombré rose petals and votive candles, and even the swaying palm trees and interior columns and ceiling were uplighted in shades of pink. Instead of a guest book, they had Maui postcards hanging on twine and invited guests to choose a postcard to send their favorite memory of the wedding.
