The vision behind this styled bridal inspiration shoot from Tennile Sunday Photography was a creative, simple and natural artistic vibe juxtaposed with the urban setting of Chicago! The gorgeous flow of the “Andrea” gown combined with the delicate flowered accessories and golden leaf crown resulted in a beautiful, understated style. The shoot was cut short by rain, but the stormy atmosphere complemented the model's dewy makeup and effortless hairstyle perfectly, giving a fresh and uncontrolled look.
An artistic bridal styled shoot in Chicago, IL
I made some small, acrylic on canvas, wildflower paintings. The invitations and menus were printed on vellum paper, and used as removable overlays on the canvases; this way, the “guests” could discard the vellum, and keep the little artworks as wedding favors. I used stretched canvases and small display easels for the dinner and drink menus, and I used hand torn canvas paper for the invitations, since it's thin enough to be easily mailed in a regular envelope.
I also painted a large canvas that would hypothetically function as a collaborative painting where wedding guests could paint their own favorite flower – sort of a fun substitution for a guestbook. – Tennile
