Sarah and Daniel are both avid skiers, so their snowy winter wonderland wedding at Stein Eriksen Lodge was absolutely perfect for them! The décor and color palette were both inspired by the mountain lodge, with the addition of some holiday sparkle and the glow of candles. Their palette of gold, crimson and winter greens was fleshed out through decorations like gold glittery candles, red holly berries, pinecone escort cards, pine boughs and aspen tree accents. Logan Walker Photography captured their incredible celebration!
A crimson and gold winter wedding in Park City, UT
Daniel and I met while attending TCU for our bachelor’s degrees. He was pursuing a degree in Business Communications with a minor in Energy Management and Technology, while I was going through the Fashion DEMT Program (which stands for design, merchandising, and textiles). We lived in the same apartment complex, only a few doors down from one another. We had a mutual friend named Blake, who was my next door neighbor. One semester, Blake was going to be having several people over at his place to celebrate the end of midterms and knocked on my door to let me know in case they got noisy and to let me know I could join in at any time. He was a sweet neighbor. Later on that evening I heard what sounded like laughter and good times next door and peeked over the balcony to see what was going on over at Blake’s. Coincidentally he was outside with a few of his friends and insisted I hop over and meet everyone. Lo and behold, one of the many wonderful people I met that night (many of whom are now my closest friends to this day) was Daniel, who turned out to be my down-the-hall neighbor. He was SO cute! And funny, and charming, and smart. I was pretty much head over heels. (For Sarah and Daniel's proposal story, click here.) – Sarah
