Sara and Joubeen got married in September at Neverland Farms, a spectacular Southern venue in Georgia! With its 120 acres of plush green trees, roaming horses, rustic buildings and a striking mountain backdrop, it was absolutely perfect for them. I love the color palette of navy, gray and maroon against all the charming farm details! 1313 Photography captured their incredible day.
A charming fall Neverland Farms wedding in Cleveland, GA
Our wedding was really everything I could have imagined. Despite the downpour of rain the night before, there was not a cloud in the sky. The bridesmaids were stunning in navy lace dresses by Jessica Simpson that fit perfectly with the venue’s vibrant colors and the (thankfully) bright blue sky. The groomsmen looked sharp in sleek grey suits – Joubeen picked out all their attire, down to each pair of socks!
Our wedding colors were elegantly incorporated into different areas and moments throughout the wedding. My two younger brothers and sister even gifted Joubeen and I a monogrammed corn hole set to use during the reception – in our wedding colors, of course.
There were so many other special, Southern touches that made this day memorable. My talented bridesmaids created the wedding program on a giant chalkboard. My sister, mom and I spent months picking out pillows, signs and other personal touches to place throughout the venue. My dear friend Amberly Odom put together our beautiful flowers. The vibrant blues of the anemones (my favorite flower!) and the romantic look of the draping japonica in my bouquet were everything I could’ve hoped for. We also got to work with incredible photographers who made us feel relaxed and at ease the whole time. We had so much fun shooting with them that we almost forgot to go back to the reception! Finally, Joubeen and I made it. We had all of our favorite hometown foods there, including brisket, mac n’ cheese and chicken pot pie. My husband also has a slight obsession with honey (I swear he eats it with everything), so we had glass jars of local honey as favors for guests to take home.
But I must say my favorite part of the entire day was the ceremony, where Joubeen and I wrote and said our own vows – it was the most perfect moment celebrated in our favorite place in front of our favorite people. The day was so unforgettable due to them and we are so thankful. – Sara
