Downtown Denver Wedding

Kate and Dan, a couple whose love story began with Tinder, used Ever So Chic Events to plan their rustic wedding in the romantic location of downtown Denver, where the two first met. Kate’s love for mixed metal jewelry, as represented in her gold, silver, and rose gold engagement ring and wedding bands, inspired the theme and color palette of the wedding. The venue, an industrial styled room with exposed brick and concrete floor, was decorated with crystal chandeliers to soften the environment. Throughout the wedding, mixed metallics were integrated, such as in the decorations, suspended metal hoops, and metallic-framed escort cards, as well as in the gold dresses worn by the bridesmaids. Greenery was also spread throughout the venue; the altar was draped in fabrics and set against a wood and moss wall. To tie it all together, the couple created a twinkle wall which was covered in photos from past weddings in both of their families. This beautiful event was captured by Talia Kate.

Words from Ever So Chic Events: “After working with Kate and Dan for almost a year to plan their special day, it came as no surprise these two thoughtful, considerate souls would have an extensive group of friends who all played a role in their wedding. Kate had 11 bridesmaids and Dan 11 groomsmen—a huge wedding party for Colorado! The wedding day was truly about celebrating with those they loved most so their friends and family were considered at every step of the process. The bridesmaids each picked their own metallic gold dress which brought all the good kind of drama to their special day. Since Kate and Dan felt such a special connection to Denver, it was only fitting that they take wedding party photos at some of the most iconic landmarks in town. Once back to the reception, the bridesmaids, groomsmen, newlyweds and all the other guests celebrated into the wee hours of the night. As a diehard Buffalo Bills fan, Dan's only request was that their DJ play a special Bills version of “Shout” and we have never seen a crowd dance and chant with such enthusiasm! It was touching to witness a couple so deeply concerned with offering their guests an opportunity to celebrate together.”
