Emily and Brian visited Red Rock Canyon in Nevada for a beautiful and intimate couple’s session with Caroline & Evan Photography! The desert mountain landscape provided a colorful backdrop in hues ranging from pale pink to orange and occasionally even teal!

The Proposal
“Brian proposed on a summer trip to Cancun, Mexico. He intended on proposing on the beach at sunrise but as soon as we got to the resort he realized the sun rose over the beach and the sun set on the other side of the resort (by the road haha). My birthday was 4 days into the trip and he told me later he intended on proposing on that day. I think his nerves and excitement got the best of him because he literally proposed the second we got on the beach after unpacking. After traveling all day with an engagement ring I think he was ready to get engaged and just enjoy vacation without stressing about when to do it!”
The Details & Favorite Moments
“When we did the photo session it was pretty cold in Las Vegas, particularly up in the mountains. We also decided to do it at sunrise so I wanted to make sure that I wasn’t freezing the entire time and the long sleeve maxi dress was perfect. Brian is not into “dressing up” and I wanted his style to reflect his personality and not force him to wear something that was not him.
“My favorite part of the day was during the shoot where it was just Brian and I and the photographer. We were able to have some intimate moments since it was not a big production.”
