This Grecian-inspired bridal shoot in Seattle designed by Pacific Engagements and captured by Bailey Michelle Photography marries ancient elegance with contemporary ivory and gold decor and lush, organic greenery. From Pacific Engagements: “Nestled away in the adorable Green Lake neighborhood, just north of Seattle, is the dreamiest indoor wedding venue! With its 20-foot tall ceilings and overarching statement window, The Great Hall at Green Lake is flooded with natural light, which further emphasizes the grandeur of the space. The clean white walls of the grand ballroom provided a blank slate, which inspired this romantic, Grecian-themed wedding inspiration shoot.”
A Grecian inspired bridal shoot in Seattle, WA
In order to transform the interior into a lush, overgrown space, our florist spent the whole day prior foraging long, twisting strands of English Ivy to organically frame the windows, adding the perfect amount of natural beauty and charm. Bright whites and golds kept the reception clean and classic, alongside the beautiful greenery that encompassed not only the surface of the stunning candle-covered dessert table, but of the head table and gorgeous ceremony backdrop as well. White hurricane candles of varying heights adorned the hardwood floors of the ballroom, creating a beautiful golden light that romanticized the reception even more.
We wanted to capture two different looks that incorporated the organic, ethereal Grecian bridal inspiration we were after. Our first model, Alex, showcased an intricate cap-sleeved, beaded gown with an asymmetrical bouquet and our second, Marie, modeled a column-inspired beaded gown reminiscent of ancient Greek architecture. Both women looked absolutely stunning in the all-white space with rays of sunlight occasionally shining through their intricate silk chiffon wedding gowns.
Our utmost favorite part, however (if you can beat the previously mentioned indoor vine decor!), were the hand-crafted cocktails and the gorgeous charcuterie board set up by Happy Camper Cocktail Co. With Ancient Greek customs focused highly on community, an elaborate assortment of fine meats, cheeses, and breads seemed too perfect to pass up!
